On December 10^th 1961, Uncle Ho visited and encouraged staffs and workers of Dong Hieu Coffee Plantation, Nghe An Province to show the interest of the Party and Government to the prospect Vietnam Coffee Industry. On July 29^th 2016, the Prime Minister issued Decision No.6306 VPCP to select the December 10^th as Vietnam Coffee Day. The first Vietnam Coffee Day took place in Dalat City from 09^th to 11^th Decemeber, 2017. The event was held by People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province and Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA).

Attending the event, there were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong – Minister of The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Pham S – Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province, Mr. Luong Van Tu, Chairman of VICOFA, foreign ambassadors in Vietnam as well as experts, enterprises, coffee producers in and outside the country.

In this three-day event titled “New Developments Stage of Vietnam Coffee in the path of integration”, there were main activities included: International conference on the new development stage of Vietnam Coffee, with the participation of representatives of coffee production and trading, exhibition, display, introduction of quality coffee products from famous coffee growing areas in the country, visiting model of production, processing of high quality coffee in Lam Dong Province, introducing public-private partnership projects in the development of coffee sector in Vietnam.

The first coffee day was the good opportunity for enterprises to capture market news, share experiences and find new business partners. The enterprises in the coffee industry included Trung Nguyen Group, Nestle’, King Coffeee, Lam Ha, Tam Trinh D&D Kaffee, Thai Chau, Simexco, Timexco, Ho Phuong Co, L’amant Coffee, Vina Nha Trang as well as Dalak Province coffee enterprises,…

Tin Nghia Corporation participated the event with the cooperation of two companies – Tin Nghia Coffee Joint Stock Company and Scafe’ Joint Stock Company. In addition to promoting the Scafe’ brand, Tin Nghia Coffee Joint Stock Company also introduced a new product: 3-in-1 Freeze dried Instant Coffee.

The samples of 3-in-1 Freeze dried Instant Coffee were highly appreciated by visitors about the quality, scent,…. that encouraged Tin Nghia Coffee Joint Stock to launch the new product into the market.

In the opening ceremony, took place on the evening of 10 December 2017, Mr. Nguyen Cao Nhon – Representatives of The board of Directors of Tin Nghia Corporation, received certificate of merit “Enterprise with many contributions to Vietnam Coffee Industry” and medal for co-sponsorship to the First Vienam Coffee Day dated 10 Dec.
