On May 11, representatives of the provinces, cities in the country and hundreds of enterprises, cooperatives, mechandisers, farm owners in Dong Nai Province participated in the trade fair of The Connecting comsumption of goods and regional specialities, especially, in remote and island areas through market system (PMAX) at Dau Giay Agro-Product and Foodstuff wholesale Market – invested and managed by Thong Nhat Real-estate Joint Stock Company (Tin Nghia Corporation).

The PMAX program was held by The Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai Province People’s Committee, aimed at linking between suppliers and comsumers to form a linkage chain of production – supply – comsumption.

Talking about the meaning of PMAX program held from 11 to 15 May 2018, Mr. Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of The Ministry of Industry and Trade stressed out :“The program is the forum for enterprises, cooperatives, merchadisers to meet, connect from the production to the distribution and comsumption period on the base of wholesale market. It is to develop branded products and goods, ensure the origin, safety and hygiene of foodstuff, especially the regional specialities; as well as to ensure harmonic supply of goods, services to mountain, remote and island areas”.

Mr. Dao Van Cuong, owner of Hoang Phuc Units – Fruit kios at Dau Giay Market was inaugurated on the occasion of the first PMAX 2018 in Dong Nai Province, majored in displaying, advertising fruit specialities of Ta Lai commune (Tan Phu District).

Cuong said: “Ta Lai has many fruit speacilities, especillay king madarin and green skin pomelo. Over the past one year, I mainly buy from the remote commune and retail in markets in Tan Phu District. Presently, I open the booth at the wholesale market with the desire to find more partners.”

Looking forward to launghing local specialities into market at the wholesale market, Mr. Vo Hoai Thanh, Director of Winnyfood Cooperative (Go Dau District, Tay Ninh Province) said that: “To join the PMAX program at Dau Giay Argo-Products and Foodstuff Wholeslae Market, I want to find out new consumption channel for clean bean sprouts, vegetables under the VietGAP process. Especially, we offer special vegetables of Tay Ninh area. We want to find a large-scale, stable consumption before expanding of production for the special vegetables.”

According Mr. Truong Minh Tien, Director of Thong Nhat Real-estate Joint Stock Company (Tin Nghia Corporation) – invester, manager of Dau Giay wholesale market: “With the scale of 2ha in the first phase, the consumption capacity of Dau Giay wholesale market of 300 – 400 tons of agriculture products per day. In the second phase, the market scale, approved by People Committee of Dong Nai Province, will expand to 48ha – the biggest wholesale market in Southern provinces. Expected in 2019, we will build fresh food market on a scale of 7ha”.

Vice chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, Mr. Vo Van Chanh requested invester of Dau Giay Argo-Products and Foodstuff Wholesale Market to accelerate the market invesment in the second phase. To further promote the circulation of goods, advertising, introducing local argo-products, as well as creating linkage of trade, investment in the market, the Vice-chairman requested relative departments, industries especially the industry of agriculture – rural development, industry and trade to coordinate to standardize agriculture products from production to purchase, preliminary processing to meet export standards.
