TIN NGHIA CORPORATION PARTICIPATES IN THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF NHON TRACH DISTRICT

The Nhon Trach District Party Committee grand held a cultural week with the theme: “Nhon Trach – 30 Years of Construction and Development” to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the district’s establishment (September 1, 1994 – September 1, 2024).

Nhon Trach District of Dong Nai Province was re-established under Decree No. 51/CP dated June 21, 1994, by the Government (split from Long Thanh District) and officially commenced operations on September 1, 1994.

Nhon Trach District, with a natural area of 410 km², accounts for 6.9% of the province’s area, located 30 km from Ho Chi Minh City and 40 km from Bien Hoa City. It is bordered by five rivers: Dong Nai, Nha Be, Long Tau, Dong Tranh, and Thi Vai, and faces Can Gio District, Nha Be District, District 7, and District 9 of Ho Chi Minh City across the rivers. The district holds a strategic geographical position in the socio-economic development of the province, located between 3 key economic hubs, known as the “Golden Triangle” including Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Over the past 30 years of construction and development, Nhon Trach has transformed from an agriculture-based district with underdeveloped infrastructure and an economy primarily reliant on farming and small-scale animal husbandry, resulting in challenging living conditions. Today, the district’s economy has experienced consistent high growth, with its economic structure shifting in the right direction. The proportion of industry and construction has reached over 81%, more than 16 times higher than in 1994. Trade and service activities have developed in both quantity and diversity of activities, accounting for 17.14% of the economic share, significantly improving residents’ material and spiritual lives.

Since 1997, Tin Nghia Corporation has started investing in industrial park infrastructure, with Nhon Trach 3 Industrial Park being its first industrial park constructed in Nhon Trach District. Currently, the district has nine industrial parks and one industrial cluster, of which Tin Nghia has invested in three industrial parks (Nhon Trach 3, Ong Keo, and 6D Industrial Parks). Additionally, Tin Nghia has carried out numerous charitable activities for the district’s community, such as awarding scholarships, building charity houses, visiting Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, providing relief, selling essential goods at stabilized prices, combating the Covid-19 pandemic, establishing funds for the poor, and supporting gratitude funds, etc. It can be said Tin Nghia has made and continues to make significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Nhon Trach District.

Marking the milestone of 30 years since its establishment, the People’s Committee of Nhon Trach District organized a cultural week with the theme: “Nhon Trach – 30 Years of Construction and Development”. The cultural week featured many activities, such as a singing festival for civil servants and workers at the District Political Center (August 25), the opening of the cultural week (August 27), an art program celebrating the 30th anniversary of the district’s establishment (August 28), the opening of the hot air balloon festival with unforgettable, new, and exciting aerial views of the district, flower car competition and parade, music exchange of Don ca Tai tu – Cai luong, exhibition of industrial and rural products (August 29), a celebration of the 30th anniversary of Nhon Trach District’s establishment,  hot air balloon lantern performance, cuisine, introducing the local specialties (August 30) ….

In conjunction with the 30th-anniversary celebration of Nhon Trach District, Tin Nghia Corporation participated in the product exhibition booth with many activities, including screening an introduction video about Tin Nghia Corporation, distributing brochures, offering samples of Donafoods cashews, etc., to introduce the industrial parks, products, and services of Tin Nghia Corporation and its group members to visitors and residents of Nhon Trach.

Now and in the future, Tin Nghia Corporation will continue to stand by the people of Nhon Trach District in patriotic emulation, promoting the image of the homeland, and joining hands to build Nhon Trach into a grade-III urban area in the near future.
